REGISTRATION FOR 2017 SEASON:
Winooski Little League Baseball/Softball & Babe Ruth will hold registrations Wednesday, March 8th 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm High School Cafeteria, Friday, March 17th 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm in the school library. Proof of age is required for all new players, who must be within age limits: August 31st 4-11 year olds & April 30th 12 year olds is the cutoff for Baseball, December 31st for Softball. Little League is for ages 4-12, Babe Ruth for ages 13-18. Little League fees are $45 for one player, and $80 for a family. Late fee is $10 after 3/31. Babe Ruth fee is $55.00 per player.

TEAM DESCRIPTIOnS

Parents and players:
Winooski Little League is a program for Boys and Girls ages 4 year olds to 12 year olds. There are three levels for baseball, Tee Ball, Minor & Majors & Softball.
TEE BALL: to accommodate league participants ages 4-6, utilizes the batting tee rather than the pitched ball, uses a reduced injury ball which is softer than a regular baseball. This level will teach your child a few basic skills, non competitive level. Practices may begin around the week of April 14th, which is dependent on the weather. Opening day is Saturday May 9th, about a 6 week season 2 games a week. Games/Practices are limited to 1 hour and 15 minutes.
MINOR LEAGUE: To accommodate league participants ages 7-11. This division is players and coach pitch. This level will have a more emphases on fundamentals. Practices will begin the week of April 14th, which is dependent on the weather.
Opening day Saturday May 9th, 6 week season, with 2 games a week, and will have practices. Games are limited to 2 hours.
MAJOR LEAGUE: To accommodate participants ages 9-12. Players must tryout to make these teams, more competitive league. These teams will also travel to local towns for inner league play, (Burlington and Colchester). Practice to start early April, dependant on our Vermont weather. Opening day is Saturday May 2nd 6 week season. This level will have 2 All Star teams (9 & 10, 11 & 12 year olds) that will compete against teams in our local district during the month of July.
LITTLE LEAGUE SOFTBALL: Looking for interested participants ages 7-11.
Games on weeknights at 6:00 p.m. may have Sat. morning games or Sun. nights.
